This
is a very helping feature that comes with the windows operating
systems but, the feature seem too expensive to manage sometimes when
one has a miniature internet bundle on ground to brows with. Another
very popular demerit of the feature is that, it slows down the
computer operation during its installation and sometimes, you have to
wait a whole while during the computer’s startup just for the
update to get properly installed.
Follow
the steps below to turn off this character on Windows 7, windows 8,
and XP and Vista.

Click ‘Start’ of press your windows key andclick‘Run’

Type ‘sysdm’ in to the search bar and press enter which will
take you to the System Properties Menu.

Select ‘Automatic Update’ then select the ‘Turn off Automatic
Update’ that will be revealed among the display
options.

Now click ‘Ok’ to save the recent changes and your Windows XP
is forever out of the overwhelming Automatic Update.

sure the administrative account is been logged in to.

Click ‘Start’ and right click ‘My Computer’ and click
‘Properties’

Now click ‘Automatic Update’ a tab will be shown, just click
‘Turn off Automatic Updates’

click ‘Ok’ to finally disable the windows automatic
update.

type ‘Java’ on the search bar located at the top right of the
page and select ‘Java’ when it displays.

for few seconds for the java page to display, when it displays,
click “update’ that is among the top header
of the page.

go down and uncheck “Check for Updates Automatically”

to stop automatically checking for updates and will miss future
security updates’ , Select ‘Do not check’

Bar.

The control panel displays in two ways, if it shows all the icons
just click ‘Windows Update’ and select ‘Change Settings’.
But if the control panel shows fewer icons, just click ‘system
and security’ and select ‘Turn automatic updating on or off’.

Both methods will lead to the update setting, just select the drop
down arrow at the right top of the displayed menu and click ‘never
check update’.

Click ‘Ok’. Now the automatic update is disabled.
