How to Make Google Search Available on Ubuntu Terminal

 

On this brief I will shown you how to make google search available in your ubuntu terminal. The reason why enable google search on ubuntu terminal, in Ubuntu Desktop environment most of the installation is done through terminal. During installation , sometimes you may get error . Generally newbies search on Google by using  error message as keyword .

 

Install Google Search Support in Ubuntu/Linux Mint

Add the ppa:tualatrix/personal to install google search support in ubuntu / linux mint, this PPA also support for Ubuntu 12.04, 11.10, 11.04, 10.10, and 10.04:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/personal
 

sudo apt-get update
 

sudo apt-get install gnome-terminal

Now, “Search on Google” option will be displayed , apart from open terminal , open tab etc which were already existing
